suck but don't look
We are not exactly moving forward now are we? Just an endless loop, a repetition of the same issues. The future no longer hard to predict - one needs only look into the past and wait patiently enough for it to reemerge. So while history repeats itself in Gaza, we wonder whether "waltz with Bashir", Brighton photo biennial and other wine-included, fetishistic socializing actually makes a difference. But never mind all of this, forget the fascist cop in Athens, Greece shooting a 15 year old kid, the big issue is whether or not we should ban breastfeeding photos from facebook: that's the real issue! Remember kids, you have been raised looking and sucking at that nipple, no child excluded. Now that you're old enough someone decides you shouldn't. The most natural thing in the process of growing up is labelled "pornography". Are you really that stupid? Listen to Frank Zappa, memorize him, and wake up or go back to sleep.

Bizarrius has taken some beautiful and truthful photographs on recent events in Athens, Greece. You can view them on his flickr photostream
For those interested in factual information rather than fascist media in-form I suggest you dig deeper than, yes, even the guardian.
"truth and lies it's all the same, whatever you do don't rock the boat"

This stop-frame animation is a collaboration with good friend Peter Payne. Filmed using a Nikon D80 and mostly macro lenses. Our aim was to experiment with different techniques, lighting and materials, test our own abilities for future work. There was no storyboarding, no script and no pre-production. We started with a general idea, which we discussed, built the set and then each scene would grow as a continuation from the previous one. It allowed us the wonderful feeling of not only experimenting but also of placing ourselves into a mindset of 'not-knowing'. As if we were the conduits, the means by which this enchanting world came to life. The whole atmosphere created communicates notions of "the oxymoron of introversion extroversion" as singer and guitarist from Quadraphonic aptly commented.
There are evident influences by the Quay Brothers and some have linked it to the gruesome fairytales of the Brothers Grimm.
Music composed by me, mixed and produced by Bari 'Floydian' Hadjikyriakou.

This animation is part of a larger piece of work, photos of which I will post at a later point along with comments from people who have viewed it.
