psycho bosses?

Mparmpedas just sent me a link about a research of managers baring psychotic characteristis. Specifically, notions of egocentrism and lack of guilt. It goes on to say they lack talent and professional development.
Now, I was fired two weeks before Christmas holidays. The week before my layoff I was working at the office for 56 hours straight. My immediate superior (media manager) gave me two days off, but, the next day they were ringing me at home. Having not replied, they were quite pissed off with me on Monday upon my return to the office, and by Wednesday I was fired for being rude. I was rude because during a discussion I got up and left her office. She had already repeated to me three times that she wouldn't talk to me anymore as our discussion would lead to an argument. The first time I disagreed on having an argument, but tried to convince her I was there to discuss the problems at hand. The second time I replied "very well" and the third time I got up to leave, on which she asked where I was going, that she was still "talking" to me. Having explained that the only thing left to discuss was the fact she did not want to discuss she broke into an outrage and told me to clear my desk. I did. Like a boss.
Suffice to say, both my media manager and her boss, probably fall in that category.
Bless you.
